The theme for this Major release is improving Task Manager performance, scalability, and administrative control.

Highlights

  • This release enhances Task Manager with performance optimizations, new security ‑group controls in Global Settings, and improved task editing.

Enhancements

  • Task Manager performance is improved with optimized filtering, new security group options in Global Settings, and streamlined task editing and validation workflows. (MP1‑8249)

Fixed Issues

  • The SendNotifications Data Management step completes successfully when processing large batches of emails. (MP1‑8339)

  • The upgrade from PV4.4.0 to PV6.6.0 completes correctly after updating ActionType values that are note valid during the table upgrade process. (MP1‑6901)

  • Task Manager categories retain special characters consistently whether entered manually or imported. (MP1‑6830)

  • Tasks republished with the Merge option display the correct approval status when approval levels change. (MP1‑6788)

  • Task instructions remain visible in the Task Grid after updating instructions and republishing tasks created in earlier versions. (MP1‑6635)

  • Drill‑down selections on the Task Analysis page display only the intended tasks after selecting and deselecting all. (MP1‑6217)

  • Open Workflow tasks use the selected time of the task when substitution variables are applied, ensuring correct task status. (MP1‑5072)

Upgrade Information

  • Review the information in this section before you install, deploy, or upgrade. OneStream strongly recommends that you upgrade in a Development environment before upgrading in the Production application.

  • This release supports a reinstall over the existing installation; however, OneStream recommends Uninstalling UI of previous Task Manager versions before upgrading to Platform Version 9.0.0 or later.

  • The minimum version for upgrading Task Manager is UTM PV6.6.0 SV102. To download UTM PV6.6.0 SV102, please Contact Support.

Compatibility

  • Minimum Platform Version 9.0.0 is required. OneStream recommends upgrading to the latest platform version.

  • One of these versions of Microsoft SQL Server is required:

    • Standard Edition 2016 SP1 or later

    • Enterprise Edition 2012 or later
